Just done mine for the 2 bikes with ebikes for £136 not bad. Previously i was with Footman James for £150 but on renewal they quoted £269!!! ( when i querried it, they said that was the price) just because the bikes and me were a year older made no difference. It pays to shop about......... next year I might try SAGA insurance ha ha

I swapped to Ebike this year after they offered a great deal on a multi-bike policy compared to ALL the others.

Many companies would not even quote me as one bike is a Rocket III (apparently they think it goes fast!) In the end I paid about £100 more than the Tiger only policy.

I suppose you only really find out the true value of an insurance company in the event of a claim - something I hope never to discover! Although I'd be interested to hear from any Ebike claimers out there ?

I've only got 2 years NCB and have just bought an 04 Tiger. I did my insurance fully comprehensive through Choice Quote for £205. The next closest was £220 and the farthest away.................wait for it...................was £975!!!

I've been with eBike since June 2008, at first one bike, then added another, then cancelled, then added it back, then moved house, then knocked the original bike off and added the Triumph, and not once was I charged for changes!
I hope the renewal is favourable as I would like to stop with them.
I dumped Churchills to go with eBike, they really are bad!

:eek:Hi every one
don't go to Hastings they promise to hold your price for 30 days
when we rang back a week after it went from £123.88 to £162.80
so after a argument i told them to get stuffed and went back with
carol Nash a bit dear at £166 but you do get every thing with it
IE all the breakdown cover and abroad you'll need this if 50mph comes in

I had a problem with EBike, bought a 125 for the wife to learn on. Added it and her to my policy without a problem and recieved the paperwork to confirm the she was insured to ride only up to her license cover. Several months later I changed my Trumpet for a newer one, when I tried to change this bike on my policy the system wouldn't allow it. Several emails later I'm told that the system shouldn't have allowed me to put the wife on the policy even though they sent the policy to me confirming it was OK. The underwriter locked my account and then insisted I send both my wifes and my drivers licence to them!!!!!!!!! Yeah RIGHT!!!!!!
I was then informed that my policy was proberbly null and void for the time it was running. Having threatened them with writing to MCN they unlocked my account at which point I closed it and moved to Bennetts. During all this over several days I was never able to TALK to anyone over the phone to get answers, they only deal via EMAIL!!! Great until your computer goes **** up or you need to get a quick responce. I'll never deal with an "online only" company again.

Paul.

I went to a couple of comparisan sites, like the Bike Insurers/MCN and taking into account excess, full breakdown cover, legal etc, eBike still came out the best for me at £105 full comp for 08 865 Bonnie with 3 years NCB.
I waited until the official renewal came through, sure enough still £105.
I think thats pretty fair.
They do now have a phone [email protected]£1 a MINUTE!!!!
Ouch!!

Dont think you can get any info from the £1 a min phone call Bath Bonne. I tried that first before emailing them. The advisor told me he could not give advice on my policy questions but he could tell me which buttons on the website to push!!!!!!!!!!!! That must have cost me several pounds just to find out NOTHING!!!!!! Never again. Even if they quote me a premium of 50 pence. But good luck to those of you that do use them. I'm happy paying another £15 and know I can talk to a human being at Bennets if I ever need to.
