I used to always wear Comfyplugs, until the shop was out of them one day and I picked up Moldex Sparks instead - now I probably won't wear anything else - they're comfortable, quiet and seem to keep their shape for a few trips. I'm not a big fan of the rubber reusable ones.

For the autocom I use Duocom's - got them from House of Hearing just down the road from you in Edinburgh. Expensive but really good - they can't compete with foam one's for noise reduction, but comfortable ( 10 days X 6 hours/day and no pain is remarkable ) quiet enough and spot on for comms/music. Only thing is you have to have moulds taken and plugs made up - takes a few weeks.

Over the years I've used various plugs.
E.A.R. foam = very good but get grubby,
E.A.R. Ultrafit = very good easily cleaned but get uncomfortable after several hours.
Custom Moulded = expensive but these are the answer. If they are made right they are very effective and perfectly comfortable all day every day. AND they last forever.
I've just got some DuoComms moulded so that I can listen to my music in comfort. Deffinately worth the expense.
