I used to always wear Comfyplugs, until the shop was out of them one day and I picked up Moldex Sparks instead - now I probably won't wear anything else - they're comfortable, quiet and seem to keep their shape for a few trips. I'm not a big fan of the rubber reusable ones.
For the autocom I use Duocom's - got them from
House of Hearing just down the road from you in Edinburgh. Expensive but really good - they can't compete with foam one's for noise reduction, but comfortable ( 10 days X 6 hours/day and no pain is remarkable ) quiet enough and spot on for comms/music. Only thing is you have to have moulds taken and plugs made up - takes a few weeks.
