Everything about the Panigale is nice except that clutch housing. It is like a wart on the Mona Lisa's chin. It looks like it should be hanging around the neck of a St. Bernard. Facing the right side of a Panigale, I can't see anything else because it is so huge and ugly. What were they thinking?
I do think the Panigale is a great bike and much more practical than recent Ducati superbikes. It isn't as much fun to ride on the street as an 1198SP; safer probably, but not as thrilling, due to the lack of mid-range torque.
