Does anyone know if this is possible?
And will the tank be a straight swap?

I am assuming you are talking about an old T3 Daytona here not a 955, and also that by SPort you mean Thunderbird Sport.

It's not as easy as it might seem at first glance. The rear subframes are different. IIRC the rear subframe on the Daytona is welded to the main frame whereas on the classics it is bolted on and they are very differently shaped assemblies. The side covers would most likely not fit the Daytona frame but the tank may. Albeit with the possibility of needing to drill some mounting holes.

It would be easiest to find a wrecked Tbird (or Tbird Sport) with a good frame and transfer all the Daytona parts over.

that bike is exactly what I described, it's got a Tbird frame (and other parts) but with Daytona wheels and engine.
