ok....concerning my directional switch, (71 bonnivelle)...i just got her running, out for my first ride, i flipped my switch in the up position....and the right blinkers were on...and down for left, actually i should be glad that they worked.....does this sound right??...or did some idiot (insert whistling innocently here)...get it backwards, .......Tom

That's correct--just like the lever on a car, up is right and down is left.
