Nice jacket :)...

I gradually figured out I can't get by (even on a day trip) with just a backpack, so ordered a set of dark oak Burly Brand Voyager bags and a tank/seat bag (and Black pannier rails from TEC).

I guess they are about middle of the road price wise, but I like the look of them and they are well reviewed from what I have seen. They were 10% off at both Revzilla and Cyclegear, but was able to get them tax free at Revzilla so saved another 45 bucks or so...

Hoping for a Barbour Sapper wax cotton jacket, as I think I've behaved pretty well this year. Will see if Father Christmas (Santa) delivers!

I like the traditional wax cotton look, and rational here is I can use it in the wet for both riding and evening strolls. Could also double as a good car coat in winter I hope.

Thanks for the links!

I found these were all valuable links. I really like the look of the Burly saddlebags. I met another T120 owner today at Alice's Restaurant, a popular biker spot, who also had chosen these bags and was very happy with them. He said the dealer only had the left side protector bar for the OEM saddlebags, for some reason. So it's nice to have that link from Reveille for protector bars for both sides! Thanks for posting the links!

Also, Thruxty, I looked up the Barbour Sapper wax cotton jacket...very nice choice and I hope it comes your way one way or another.

Great, glad you could use them... Just want to mention that the rails are from TEC’s site and not Revzilla. Paid around $75 with tax for those... Motone is supposed to be coming out with a similar looking set in Jan or Feb as well.

Mine arrived and I really like them. Will get them amounted and take a couple pics between Christmas and New Year, but you can also see a review on YT if you search “Stuart Fillingham”

Where is Alice’s Restaurant (can see you are in Calif, but it’s a big State :wink2:)?

Edit: Never mind. Found it... a little far for a day trip for me unfortunately.

Just wondering if folks bought or received as a gift any gear this holiday season.

My dealer has a 20% off deal on all clothing and apparel in the month of December so I bought the Beachley Jacket:

I wanted a jacket with better protection than my old Hein Gerike.
I like the Beachley. It reminds me of the Vanson Drifter (which reminds me of Lewis Leather's Super Sport jacket). I'm not crazy about the white script graphics on the back though.

Yes, Santa really likes me.
Gerbing heated vest, controller for vest which gets insanely hot, Firstgear polar-type riding suit and a "new" motorcycle coming my way.

I have compromising photos of Santa getting his jollies with two female elves so of course I do pretty well.
I'd better or else it's off to see Mrs. Klaus...

I was given a cash gift and told to buy more safety clothing so I got a pair of Klim K fifty 2 jeans and Maxler jeans, which are currently being altered by a local taylor. I like the fit of the Klim protective D30 pieces a little better but they are both nice. I also got the Triumph Restore Tan gloves:

edit: I should mention they fit a bit tight so I had to get a larger size than I normally wear.

Bought a Cortech 10L Magnetic Tank Bag.

It's a nice little bag that zips to half size, which in most cases is enough for me.

I didn't receive any, but I did give my son a Backoff-XP Brake Light Modulator for his NC700X.

I also purchased a set of Sharpies and an Olde English lettering template for goofing around with the number plate for my Street Scrambler.
