Howdy, so i had my frame blasted and of course the sticker on the steering head that has all the VIN number and compliance information is gone. Is there a spot to get hold of a new one. ON an awesome side I got a ton of parts in the mail the other day pistons at the machine shop...

If you update your profile with the year and model bike, you'll probably get better feedback.

The sticker, if this is an OIF bike, is probably the compliance sticker and although it has the VIN on it, the VIN is also stamped into the frame neck on the left side. Of course your powder coater could have blasted the frame to death and over coated the area and the number is barely visible. I'm not home so I can't post a picture. But I'm sure somebody here can post a pic of the stamped number on the frame so you know what to look for.

regards,
Rob

Depending on the model/year,replica compliance decals are still available. They dont have the VIN number on them though. Those decals were unique to the bike and fitted at the factory.
As above, the frame/VIN number should be stamped on the l/h frame tube under the steering head.

I have seen the vin number there but was hoping to get a decal to put on to make things easier for the dmv to read

What year is your bike? That would help. You can get repos here. http://www.classictransfers.co.uk I have one on mine it looks great. All you do is send them your VIN and in about two weeks, you get one in the mail that looks NOS. They have both styles. I bought the first one for my bike. It says TR6R on it, same date, the VIN font is a little different. That's it, looks just like the old one.
