Just got the bike back from the dealership, and it looks like I'll be taking her back.
While the popping from the exhaust is gone and it runs smoothly:
  • It rather feels like the choke is pulled, when off-throttle.
Any ideas what the shop might have done incorrectly?

Originally there were 2 issues. The first was an unresponsive idle adjustment dial.
It was corrected by copious turning of the dial.

My lagging throttle is still present, so the 2 were unrelated. My throttle cable may need lube, is my best guess.

Lubing cable is a good guess, could be cable routing as well.

Might check that the outer cable is still intact where it mounts into the carb bracket, I had one that broke off there.
