Hello everyone,
Just a note to all you never know what you are going to find.
I am a big fan of the dialy inspection of any motorcycle as
small problems can be found before they become big problems.
Every day that I ride my motorcycle when I get home it gets
around 20 to 30 minutes of my time going over the bike just
checking stuff. And once a week it get the long look over
as I clean up a little, of no help though still a dirt ball.
Anyway just to note that today I found a cracked washer sitting
in the fins of the cylinder head. After I fished the little bugger
out, I noticed right away that it was the washer that holds
the fuel tank down in the center bolt. That is right washer broke
into two parts and a loose tank. An easy fix for the day, maybe
a big problem if I was not looking.
Just a reminder for all those people who just ride and ride. It
pays to look once in awhile.
