Hey fellow RAT's.

Spring has sprung here in the Big Smoke and it's just about time to

get my ride on the road. Does anyone know the size of the drain

bolt crush washer for a 2007 Thruxton? I have a bunch of dealers

around me but they only sell Jap bikes. I've asked but no one can

give me a straight answer.

The bolt is an M14. I've used the original washer [it is not a crush washer] for three oil changes. But get some at a car parts store - cheaper.

I just had my oil changed at a Triumph dealer Thursday...no drain plug washers on the bill...just the oil...oil filter and labor...

Why wouldnt you want your bike to leak oil anyway...I thought it was supposed to...

interesting enough that my service manual does not tell you the size but it has to be torqued to 25NM ( 18.439 ft lbs )

14mm inside diameter.

Thanks guys...14mm it is. I've used the same washer for the last two oil changes. I thought it would be time to get a new one.

I got my replacement 14 mm washer from Honda for $0.96 at the recommendation of my local Triumph mechanic. I think the part #was 960014??
