I have looked around on the forum, but I'd like to know direct from Scrambler owner's if anyone's fitted the CRG hindsights onto the Scrambler bars. There is that welded piece in there & does this pose any problems? I have clampon mirrors right now under the bars, but thinking of trying bar ends ones.

If these CGR bar end mirrors have the mounting bolts that are meant to fit inside the stock handle bars. I believe they will not fit because they protrude too far. Inside your stock handle bar are two welded-in plugs, left and right sides, where the small handle bar weights attach with that long allen head bolt. These plugs will be inthe way of the bar end mirror's mounting.

I have the CRG's fitted to my scrambler. You remove the stock bar ends then grind down the piece that fits inside bar end. Grind it so it touches that weld piece in there. Use the stock screw to attach the mirror. Screws right in to the welded piece. I used a bench grinder. Takes about 5 minutes per side to install. A little longer to get them adjusted perfectly. Absolutely TRICK and functional.

Does all this mean I will be unable to mount the Acerbis handguards I bought to mount on my Scrambler???
I'd be interested in the handguards which ones did you buy? I want protection - levers and hands.

I think you can mount them but you may have to drill out and clean up the insides of the bars first.

Let me know how you get on.
