painted, clearcoated, or just polished? This is the left side still.

Reason I'm asking: I've scraped mine up and am willing to sand and polish, if that'll fix it. However, if it's painted or clearcoated, obviously I won't be fixing anything if I start on it with the sanding block.

They are clearcoated, so once you start sanding, you have to do the whole thing and continue to keep it polished as it will tarnish if unprotected- however, it will look fantastic if you keep it polished! :-D

Cool...thx. Have you seen anyone selling black covers? If I have to replace it, I'd like to go that way, but I've not been able to find them anywhere.
