Took a solid hit to my skid plate and cracked my oil pan. Leaks very slowly and still runs great.

Easy fix may be JB Weld, but I’m considering a used pan or a proper weld. It seems like dropping the pan is pretty straightforward. Advice please! Thanks in advance.

I've repaired a stator cover that took a hit from a rogue engine bar (bracket snapped and the bar pushed into the cover.) It came out OK. Cleaned it thoroughly with brake cleaner spray, filed out the crack for more surface, and gave it a layer of metal epoxy. Then I filed down the bit inside which threatened to rub against the stator.

In support of metal epoxy being able to fix anything I submit the following evidence of unknown origin.
