Noticed while riding this a.m. that the tach had some condensation forming under the glass. Not much but enough to notice. Was not riding in rain, however, it was damp this morning. Anyone else had this problem? Wonder if I should get it checked since under warranty?

Yes this has happened to my tacho too. I thought there was some distortion in the glass at first.
I was tempted to remove the glass and clean it out but haven't yet.

This is a wild guess and speculation,
but I think after a few times of fogging up, and a brief period of time, the housing & seals start to be more effective at doing their job. Seems a few of my new bikes have done this either after washing or riding in the cold..... then it stops with time.

In fact my current Bonnie developed condensation under the tach' glass a few weeks ago.... hasn't done it since.

Berta...these type indicators use a rolled-on bezel assembly which requires a special fixture and jig (not to mention another new bezel ring..the silver band).
I had the same problem when I first got the bike. I used some of the smallest and thinnest sticky-back foam insulation strip I could find and stuck it on the backside on the bezel of the Tach (sandwiched between the cup). I was more annoyed with the Tach rotating off-center while riding...but the insulation strip cured that also.
I haven't had a fogging-up problem since, but that could just be coincidence...I think there's something to what Pat said about the problem stopping with time (dirt, dust, soap, sap...sticky things winding up in the crevices to seal them.

Shorty
