Hello all, I wanted to compare some info. I changed out my front tire a couple of weeks ago, and a couple pieces of the magnet broke off. the the magnet is still in one whole piece around. The speedo stays stable, but not sure if it is reading correctly.

Here is what I see on my 04.

RPM's at 6000, in 6th gear, Mph's are around 95 to 97.

Sound about right?

Techman, Is your gearing still OEM? I'll be out on mine later and will gladly do the deed...in the interest of science, of course. From memory 60 MPH is ~3900 RPM, but I'm minus one on the countershaft sprocket.

Generally it's gonna fail. Can you epoxy it?

Brad, yes I have OEM gearing still.

I will check the 3900 tomorrow to see.

Thanks.

Techman, Okay, this'll be different then. At 6K I've a reading of 92-93 MPH. Seems like you're close.
