So....My bike will not start in the cold. When I lived in San Diego it was not a problem because it dosn't get very cold there however, now that I moved to New Mexico the cold has become a much larger issue.
Things that I know are not the problem:
1. The carb warmers are fine and there intended purpose is not for starting anyway
2. The plugs
3. Jetting is close to if not perfect as per the local shop

What this leaves me with is a big question. I do know that it started fine before the air injection kit was removed. Anybody have thoughts on this. Please note that all vaccum caps are new and secure. Also I have heard talk of the choke/enricher circuit being a possible candidate. Any thoughts on this?

All help is appreciated,

A

Once the temp dropped below 40 I found it necessary to remove the side panel and put my hand over the snorkel to act like a real choke. Starts up easily with this process. Once the engine is warmed up, not an issue. Two weeks ago it was 29 degrees out and it wouldn't start. Tried this and it fired right up.

Jetting

Pj's here in Alb said that what I am running is what they put in bikes here.
