Getting my '72 TR-6 ready for spring and inspecting the clutch push rod revealed a groove and wear marks about 4" in from the primary side. Is this normal or do I have some issues with the primary?

Haven't inspected the primary side yet just trying to get a head start.

do as above but also are you tighten clutch adjuster down to tight and clutch rod is spinning all the time in the shaft. meaning 0 free play

No Stew, tighten and back off 1/8 or what ever the spec in the workshop manual says.

Thanks,
