Hello everyone,

I ordered a set of clip-ons for my Bonneville was curious about placement. I'm a smaller and don't necessarily want to place them under the tree due to lower/extended reach.

I am curious about lowering the tree position on the forks about 1.5" inches to give me some reduced reach feeling, especially if the clip-ons are going on the top of the forks above the tree. For those that tried it, What is your perception of the suspension geometry. did it feel too aggressive with the front rake? should I consider lowering the rear as well?

Looking forward to the thoughts of my fellow bratt nuts...

That works ok on a Thruxton but it has longer fork tubes and a shorter tire and slightly lower fender than a T100. On a T100 you may have a problem with the fender hitting the lower tree on harsh bumps. You can get clip-ons with more rise.

An inch and a half is a BIG change to the handling.

Best is to get risers so you don’t need to F with the triple.
