Hello all,
I have been lurking on this list for sometime now and finally was able to take the plunge on a TBS. I am extremely satisified with the bike. I came from riding larger sport touring type machines that have shaft drives. Now that I am back with a bike that has chain drive, has anybody tried this form of chain maintenance:

If so, any pros/cons or any opinions on it? It looks like a good idea but sometimes looks can be decieving.

I am looking forward to be back on a bike that is more nimble and easier to get around on and at the same time being on a bike with alot less fairing.

Hey Scott Hmm have'nt seen that before, looks pretty cool.I think it would keep the mess of overspray down too a minimum.

i have one called Moose Chain Scrubber. Not exactly the same but similar. I like it because the mess is contained inside the device so cleanup is easier afterward.

Google for "Moose Chain Scrubber" and you will find some reviews of both devices at web bike world.

Hey Jim, you're exactly right. I had to step back and just admire how that bike changes personality when that seat cowl is on there. It's a perfect setup. I hope to find out how the seat rides soon. How have you been?

That is my whole goal with looking at this device is to keep the mess to a minimum and to also provide a good cleaning/lubing at the same time.

Thanks Denny for the info on the other brand. I'll definitely give that a looking at and do alittle more research on both.

Well it looks like this site gives the Moose Chain Scrubber as well as the Ketten-Max two thumbs down. They suggest sticking to the normal way of the Grunge Brush, which is what I have now.
