Hi,

I purchased a carbon rear hugger for my '04 Daytona with single sided swingarm. It came with no fixings. There are two fixing holes at the rear(swingarm end) of the hugger. One clearly uses the chain guard fixing (left side as you look at it) There is a small plastic cover on the other side of the swingarm, however, when I try to pull this out, it doesnt seem to want to come out and fear it will just break. Is this meant to come out? When I spoke to the seller on ebay, they mentioned that it doesn't attach on the right side (as you look at it) but cant see this being the case!

Also, there is a hole at the front of the hugger on the chain guard side, which lines up with a similar hole on the chain guard, again no fixings, I assume the hugger and chain guard fix together, but does anyone know what the fixing is?

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

Can’t directly help as I’ve got the dual swing arm model but does the image for the single swing arm from the parts diagrams help you visualise the fitting ?

Yes it does, I have added a red dot where the plastic bung I refer to is. Seems tricky getting it out.

I might be a bit late, but here a couple of pictures of my NWS hugger. You can see the two mounting screws loosly fitted in the first picture & the hugger fitted in position in the second picture. Hope they help.
