Can the security of the fuel line connectors at the tank connection be inspected without unbolting the tank? Does one of the side fairings have to be removed? (I don't have access to my bike at the moment to look).
Yes. Put bike on center stand. Get flashlight. Go to left side of bike. Kneel down to where sprocket cover is. Look up with flash light. You can see all the connectors. You can ever get you hand in there to feel for any wet spots.(That sound weird :blush: )
If you stick your hand up in there, and grab the plastic fuel disconnect, it will actually slip back and forth on the tank spigot about 4 or 5 mm which is fine. But it should stop decisively and move no further than a few mm.
