I am planning on taking the California On-cycle skills test this weekend with my thrux.

Does any one have any advice?

Also how does the scoring work? Is it automatic fail if i put my foot down?

I would appreciate any help.

The wheelie part and the knee drag got my friend in trouble, but... Kidding!

The test is very easy if it is still the same as when I came to Ca some years ago.

Basically show you are in control, probably won't need to up shift unless 2nd gear is easier on you at slow speeds.

Go straight between the lines, go around the circle and come back, stop. Yes, foot down when you stop, not when you go.

Some agents may ask you to show controls, start/stop etc. If you have been riding anytime at all, you'll be fine.

In my state the DMV honors a certificate from the motorcycle safety foundation if you have completed and passed their class, might be something to check into, and then you don't have to take the riding skills test given by the DMV
