Hello all, I'm Bones. some of you may know me from other forum's, and some may not. no worries.

the point...

is there a Cafe Racer Scene in Hawaii. I ride a 71 T120RV (pictured below, 1st in the line) and while I will ride with just about anybody that can keep up, I wonder what kind of scene is going on around Honolulu.

Aloha Bones.

The short answer is NO.

There is a great bunch of guys here that ride Triumphs, both old and new and we usually get together for a ride once a month.

When are you moving to Hawaii and which island are you going to be living on?

Very Well.

to answer all questions, I will arrive on Oahu at the end of Nov and the bikes will get there when the boat shows up with them.

this picture was taken during a Club Ride from downtown Birmingham out to Barber and back.

I do post occasionally on jockey journal

I built mine to ride. It isn't for everybody, but I like it

they are Avon Distanzias 110 front, 120 rear

I put them on when I was living in Alaska, and they have held up pretty well. they do very well on the street for a dual sport tire.

I think you've been 'super-moderated'

I would agree.

I would also agree that Vintage would be the logical choice, but wouldn't want to offend the restoration crowd. so I posted it here.

whatever, I don't particularly care one way or the other, I just wanted to get a recon of the islands. I got what I needed.
