I've never seen a video, but I've crushed a Buell routinely in the 1/4 mile. Worse, it was ridden by a 115 pound girl! My 200 pound fat @ss didn't seem to slow down Speedy too much.

Funny: This girl's husband rode a Harely V-rod and regularly lost races to almost everybody- including his wife!

Odd. I don't know why he sold that V-rod. There's just no pleasing some people.

I've done this to my XB12S friend though on a regular basis. The 955i S3 outpulls the XB12 every time after 60mph.

i have a story about HD racing. me and my bud were at a "local track" and i hit the straight away full throttle the WHOLE time. he on the mean time just stays WAY back...catches up slows down...catches up...slows down over and over and over. my top speed 100mph every time he catched up was around 138mph.

i have a american iron magazine with an article talking about "because you dont ride a spec sheet" implying that HDs and buells basically suck and that you can buy better bikes for cheaper but the fun factor and "sound" keeps people coming. i bought my sporty for a first bike and cause i got a deal on it cause it was middle year and they were clearing inventory. i love it and will most likely keep it. but it is going to have a room mate this spring.

personally i think,

if you want a fast bike go jap

if you want a cruiser go HD

if you want a true touring bike goldwing

and if you want the best bike go speed triple :hammer:

There good fun aren't they.I still ride mine heaps faster than S3,but it only practice.
