Looks to be setup like the D&D's for the Scrambler, in which case I've put hundreds of miles on two-up with my wife since installing those with no troubles. Passenger's leg rests against the heat shield on the header pipe, not the muffler. Honestly, I can't quite figure out what purpose the heat shields on the originals served aside from pure aesthetics.
