I posted this in club cafe forum, but I think this place seems more appropriate ...

This is so petty, but I can't use my thruxton without it.

I broke my front break lever, so I bought ASV unbreakable levers, which I am trying to install. But the front break lever nut is so unbelievably tight that nothing seems to work so far. I have almost rounded the nut and have put enough WD-40. I also tried the cold chisel strategy to give it shock, no luck. Do I need to cut the nut or is there any other option? Let me know if you would like me to take some pictures, to give you a better idea, I can do so.

I even bought a hacksaw today - thinking of just cutting the stupid nut - just too tired ...

Yes, pictures would help. Have you tried other oils, like 3-1 or break free?
