I have ISR brake levers and noticed they offer a model with adjustable reach and leverage.
Does anyone have experience with the adjustable leverage bit? Could it, for example, add feel and bite with the OEM caliper and disc setup?

I really don't think it will change feel or bite. However you may be able to stop harder due to a better grip with your hand the adjustment will allow.
You say you think, but do you know? Do you have first-hand experience?
I’m talking about the leverage adjustment, not the reach (lever position). More leverage, by definition, would mean that you get smaller piston movement with bigger lever movement, right?

I missed that, one would think changing the leverage would indeed change the effort involved in stopping.

I do have first hand experience with levers with adjustable reach. I did find that I was able to grip the lever "harder" in certain positions as opposed to other positions but as you point out that does not affect leverage.

I don't think you were looking at a replacement lever with that option. It looks like it's a whole master cylinder replacement.
There actually is a replacement lever for my cylinder/clamp/lever setup (model nr ….-11). For cable clutch, though, I would have to replace the whole thing.

Dollar for dollar, it’s hard to beat the Galfer floating rotor and sintered pads for “bite and feel.” Just another way of looking at the problem, fwiw.
