Hi I don't know where to post this so i will try here and on the Sprint forum.
Recently I caved in and got myself a cell phone I got a Samsung 640 with built in camera and lots of other stuff ie games ..... the phone have Blue tooth technology which is one of the main reasons I picked it in the line up.
From what I understand BT is voice activated and a head set can be mounted inside the liner in a full face helmet.
Does anyone here have any first hand experience with this?
There are lots of different head sets available on the market if anyone have any suggestions please let me know.
i want to make sure I get something with good quality both for using the phone/intercom system bike to bike and also for listening to music.Since I never had a suitable bike for any longer distance riding this is all new to me.
Suggestions are welcome

Mikey,

We are the distributor for the Cardo Scala product line. They are the best solution for people looking to go bluetooth. The Nolan helmet may or may not be good, but if the electronics go out you have a useless helmet. Anyway the cardo bluetooth headset pairs with your phone and adapts to any helmet. Check out our site at Benchmark Helmets you can also click on the MOMO Design banner as we are a site sponsor. Good luck in your search and give us a call if you have any further questions.

I tried a Scala Rider for a while and did not like it, too much wind noise. I got to test a Dainese Airstream Course with Blue Tooth for a little while. It was great. Then I decided I didn’t want people bugging me when I ride.

Yes I have to agree with Jeff and Dave about a distraction.
I was thinking more of using it when on longer rides. After all once you've answered the call you can pull over and have a conversation.
i still think it's a great tool :)

If your not afraid to drop so dough you could purchase the Garmin ZUMO 550 GPS with built in BT.

Of course you'll still need to find a good comm system for the helmet.

I use Autocom, but hear that Starcom is also an excellent choice. Essentually these systems boost and clean up radio signals.
