Does anyone of you guys know if it is possile to do something about the blue chrome on the exhaust pipes. The guy who owned my bike before me plugged the air injection, but I guess that was after the bends turned blue.

Is there anything I can do about that now (apart from buying new pipes)?

You could just learn to love it. It makes it look like a real ridin' bike instead of a museum piece.

They'll turn even if you remove the air injection before you start her up the first time. I didn't much care for the discoloration either. As Thrux-ton-up already mentioned... ceramic coated black is the way to go!

instead of going through all of the trouble of trying to get rid of the blue pipes on your red bike, maybe you should be thinking of making your red bike blue to match your pipes. Just a thought.

Mine are almost a perfect match

I think I might just use the "learn to love it" method. Seems to be the cheapest way to go. The blue chrome does have a nice rugged quality to it.

"Powerbike" I could turn my bike blue, but after having read another topic at this forum it is my understanding that red is, in fact, the fastest color... :)

My forum name is actually CaspianThruxton. The "Powerbike under my name is because the blue ones are the powerbike's and the reason yours says production 125 is because the red ones are in fact slower. Sorry to break the news man. I do think the red looks nice though.
