I bought a 96 adventurer last summer, only 23 kilos on it. The owner was a bike collector who rarely used the bike. I notice 2 of my pipes are turning blue, but not just at the top all the way to the muffler? what could be the cause of this?

Bluing on the pipes is usually caused by riding a bike instead of storing it in a garage. :p

Seriously, that's what happens to single-wall pipe when you heat it up. My question is whether your bike is running on all 3 cylinders. You should be seeing fairly even bluing across all 3 pipes; the lack of it may actually indicate a problem.
