I'm debating if I want to coat my head pipes flat black before I install my new BellaCorse tear drop mufflers? They look just like NH Togas, Sprints...so on. Anyhow, Does anyone have or has seen a Triumph with black head pipes and these style mufflers? I see the Predators, D&D style mufflers all day with black head pipes, and they look amazing, and therefore I'm on the fence about how the Tear drops will look? Any pics, or comments from those that can picture my idea are welcomed!!

I want to go for a 60's "Hot Rod" Bonneville, retain much of the bikes looks by keeping the original fenders and seat, but add some subtle "Hot Rod" changes all while keeping it nostalgic? I'm changing the tail light and indicators, Super bars are going back on with football grips, doing some bar end mirrors (yes, the football grips will be modified), lowering the rear end via shrouded Hagons...and all sorts of other stuff. Can it be done? Wait and you shall see...
By the way...She should be out of the shop (repaired and all) by the end of next week...Insurance sure drug their knuckles around on this one...the Bonnie and I went down three weeks ago this coming Saturday...I'm going crazy without my bike!!
