Now it is known that the triple has a unique sound all its own, but some other bikes are definitely hair raising. My personal favorite is a Honda CBX with a 6 into 1 at full throttle. Sounds like an F1 race car. Pure muffler porn. Check it out on the youtube.

Still a 6 pot and not a race bike which is the point.
It is THE ORIGINAL 6 pot and it sounded way better than that CBX.

You didn't say race bike... for race bikes I go with Cal Rayborn on the HD XRTT road racer at Laconia pulling off the corners and the Ducati 750SS Desmo at the Imola 200 in 1972 ridden by Paul Smart.

A friend rode the legendary Moto-Guzzi V8 for a short distance and said it sounded AWESOME.

The pic of the benelli was the 6 pot. The Yamaha pgm is the awesome v8 i would love to have but my money tree seems to be out of season. Best race bike , the Norton rotary racer. Obscenely loud with flames shooting out.
70s tech racing much more modern bikes and flying by with that crazy exhaust sound.

Stock? Kawasaki Z900RS. Bar none. Unbelievable a stock bike CAN sound THAT GOOD, and have beautiful looking stock exhaust and headers.

No video will do them justice but it’s great for people who love muffler porn. If you’ve ever been to a motogp race those bikes sound unbelievable, especially the older desmosidici. 1990s 900 ss with the booming Termis. Those were cool sounding compared to my Suzuki 1150 with a Vance n Hines.

I need to learn how to get a good quality clip of my Rocket from behind while riding at speed. That Dave Platt exhaust I have makes The Beast sound like the Gates of Hell have opened and all the demons are howling in excitement!

Of the bikes I've owned, it's a toss up between a '92 VMax and an '05 Rocket III with a roadhouse slip on. Maybe a slight edge to the Vmax, which sounded like a small block v8 to me.

There’s two places that make the bikes we mention wale.
1 Any tunnel , the longer the better.
2 Between tall walls on on-ramps or canyon walls. The tighter the nastier the howl.

And parking garages with a symphony of car alarms to accompany the exhaust music. >:)
