Benny Parson's passed on Tuesday from complication's due to lung cancer.

I was honored to shake BP's hand a few years back in Richmond. He was as nice a guy in person as he was as a NASCAR commentator.

Benny was the only good announcer left for NASCAR and as far as I am concerned the sole redeeming quality that trash had on the air.
