The filters are oval/cone knock-offs of the K&N's. They made by a leading filter manufacturer and are the same quality and construction as the K&Ns, just less costly. This allows me to include the adjustable carb support brace, SS carb screws and SS manifold clamps for the same price as the -other- kits.

Excuse the boasting, but my illustrated instructions alone are worth choosing my kit over the others.

Thank you for your reply.
I just have one more question. I was looking at your carb breather - what exactly does that do for your bike, and do you recommend it?

Thanks

Has anyone used or have the Air Box removal kit that Bella Corse is offering?
Just wondering what kind of filters and quality of the kit...
Top notch, good instructions, all parts and pieces included. Well made...

The breather filter is for the crankcase. The black 1/2" hose that leads back to the stock airbox is disconnected when the airbox is removed. My kit comes with a 80 micron screened filter to keep debris and bugs out of the hose. You really don't need a fancy filter on the hose, just something to keep dirt and the occasional spider out.

Whitehurst, if you look in the picture below, that little reddish filter and black hose it's connected to are for the crankcase. Like Mike said, as stock, the hose connects to the airbox. Once the airbox is removed, the hose is kind of unecessarily long so I cut mine down.

Thanks for the pic. I knew what it was for, just didnt know exactly what the filters were for besides keeping stuff out. I was wondering if they did anything else, God knows what but I thought I would shoot the question out there.

Are those UniFilters on your bike? How do you like them, I sure do like the looks of those much more than the K&N's (edit - oops).

Whitehurst, yes those are the Uni filters. I like the filters very much and they are better quality than I expected. I am very pleased with how they look and also how inexpensive they are. Unfortunately I haven't been able to ride the bike since getting them on due to weather so I can offer no opinion regarding that.
