Mike,

I hate to bring this to public, but you have left me NO CHOICE. I paid your company Sel Motion aka Bella Corse for some handlebars and fork gaiters (for my GF's bike) thru your PayPal account - $71 and some change. You never sent any type of confirmation and when questioned about it thru an email from me - you stated you never received any kind of payment and you've never heard of me. I have since sent you a follow up email 7 days ago that contained ALL the paypal info - still no word from you. I filed a dispute with Paypal - in which you're required to respond - still no reply ....

YET - here you are on Triumphrat.net posting replies. NOT what I would call good customer service bub. This was the first time I've used you as a vendor and it's because I'd heard stories of your pisspoor service. Never again. I'll continue with the Paypal dispute and force your hand. And, its not like $71 is going to hurt me, it's just the danm principle of the matter.

Maybe you should call up NB and Brit Cus and ask them for their copy of "Customer Service Guide - how to get repeat business."

For whatever it's worth, I've been nothing but happy with my BellaCorse orders. I've never experienced any "pisspoor" service. But yes, it would be interesting to hear a reply.

Round #2.....?????????

Never having used BellaCorse, I can't say anything negative nor positive, But I can say NewBonneville, Brent, Jessica, and the entire staff have never been anything but accomodating, pleasant, and utterly efficient. Brent has my business as long as he wants it.

Update: I received a REFUND on my paypal account. Still never received any form of communication from Mike at Bella Corse.

Guys, Admin, Moderators - I hated to bring stuff like this into public, but I hate being ignored when I'm a paying customer even more.

As far as I'm concerned, the matter is resolved and I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I haven't bought anything from them yet, but have received emails in response to questions.

Also, never had a problem with paypal - yet.

Paypal sucks.
It wasn't a PayPal screw up here. It wasn't PayPal who forced my refund. SEL MOTION refunded the money after I filed a dispute of payment. The only thing I don't like about paypal is their 3% transaction merchant charge - it seems a bit high to me, but after once being self employed in a retail business (8 yrs worth) - I know your local bank/merchant services will also charge that much on all CC and Debit transactions.

I've conducted business with our local vendors, and I've used Paypal. I've had great service from said vendors, and I understand why Paypal charges me for their services. I have frequently thought that I should advertise the Paypal expense as part of a purchase price.

I've found myself having to wait (and wait) for deliveries to arrive, and I found a couple of my purchases to have been misrepresented by a particular vendor (but I won't mention who or for what). And I won't even mention mints having been found months later in a box that I thought contained none......

That said, it is not profitable for the middle man (BellaCorse, newBonneville, etc.) to submit a request and pay for only ONE item to be shipped from his source, just because we submitted our order to them. I understand why the middle man would choose to wait until he has at least a few items requested before calling his order(s) in. It's also cost prohibitive and impractical to store and keep in stock several of each item that our vendors have been kind enough to help us purchase.

We need to know that we frequently SET OURSELVES UP FOR DISAPOINTMENT......! It is NOT the fault of the vendor, that OUR EXPECTATIONS are so high. Though this may or may not be applicable in this particular instance, but it should be pause for thought none-the-less.

Allow me AT THE VERY LEAST, to thank our vendors for being there for us. Thank you for providing us a service that otherwise would take hours of surfing the Internet to find some of the goodies that you guys make available to us to purchase.

The service that our local vendors have provided us has been good for the most part. The 'bad' has frequently been the result of anxious expectations not having been met, or simply a misunderstanding.

Thank you BellaCorse and thank you newBonneville.

Paypal is the reason I do not get a lot more things from Bella Corse. They were quite responsive for technical questions and went the extra mile to help me out by shipping parts that they didn't have to GIVE me. Seem like good guys. I agree with sweat: paypal sucks.

Stopping here. He said his issue is resolved. If you all want to talk about paypal and other vendor experiences, start a different thread. :hammer:
