Im looking to install these on my new T120. Doing my homework, the Triumph accessory units look really nice and an easy install. Muddling thru I saw Halcyon units. These look to be generic application. I hear generic and I see PITA install that never looks right.

Do any of you folks have 2 cents to add?

Thanks!

I believe Enfd56 just installed some Halcyon 820's. I'm looking at the same Halcyon 820's (as well as the round 830's).

I'm also looking at:
1. Rizoma Reverse Retro - Elliptical
2. Triumph Bar End Mirror Clear Anodized Part # A9630206 - Elliptical
2. Triumph Bar End Mirror Clear Anodized Part# A9638132 - Round
3. Triumph Round Bar End Mirror part #A9638132 ( https://shop.triumphmotorcycles.com/mirrors/id-A9638132/Chrome_Round_Bar_End_Mirrors )

Apparently, Halcyon has an M6 bolt adaptor for the T120. ( https://classicpartsltd.com/820-halcyon-bar-end-mirror.html )

Rizoma, regarding my 2018 T120, tells me via email, "...You would need one of the following adapters. The only difference between the 2 is that the “B-Pro” has a replaceable end cap. http://www.rizoma.com/universal/mirrors/ma434/en or http://www.rizoma.com/universal/mirrors/ma433/en ".

I went with the Triumph bar ends and am happy with the result. I considered the Halcyon's. I read nice things about their quality, but I was not confident the installation would like 'seamless'. Good luck.

I have the small Triumph bar ends ... very happy with them. Due to the small size, adjustment is critical, but once adjusted correctly, rearward vision is excellent and they are rock steady with no vibration. I reviewed the Halcyon mirrors on youtube, but the adapters made them look awkward .. stuck out too much. The Triumph ones are pricey, but then so is everything else that is Triumph branded. At least the quality is top notch, so no issues there, and dead easy to fit.

I used the Tec bike parts bar end mirrors and am very happy with the price and the result

You can either use the triumph adapter plate that you also need with the triumph bar end mirrors or trim the supplied part that comes with the kit. They recently did a short youtube video about fitting them.

FWIW, these prices aren't out of line with others I've seen. I had occasion to replace one on my V strom because never you mind, and that was about $90 from bikebandit who is wicked cheap.

TEC Ordered

Ordered the TEC's - mainly for price as I saw little difference between the different mirrors themselves. I have heard nothing but GOOD words about TEC and wanted to try them out. If they are not right, I will send back and get the Triumph's. Going on a T120 - can use less than half of the standard mirrors that came on it - have to move the head to even see that much on the left side.

You may know this already, but it took me a while to realize it. The T120 stock mirrors have a mounting point that is not centered . . . so twisting the mirror clockwise 180 degrees will position your mirrors farther out (if they arrived in the same set-up as mine did) and allow you to see less of your shoulders and more of what is behind you.

That said, the bar end mirrors are still likely to be an improvement.
