Hey there.
Antone else have a problem with their center stand banging over bumps? I have read posts about rubber stoppers on aftermarket exhausts to lessen the impact. I have a 2006 Scrambler so the exhaust is not involved. I have had several bikes in the past with center stands which did not move while riding. The stand has both springs installed. It is Very annoying to have the stand bounce and bang over even small bumps. Any and all help will be appreciated!

Thanks.

You only get 1 spring on the Norman Hyde version, that is too weak to pull it right up to the stops with out assistance from a well placed boot!

Yes, make sure that both springs are installed, one inside the other.

From what I remember of installing the center stand on my Bonneville, there's a 'slightly difficult to fit' small rubber buffer to stop any metallic clanging. Mine makes no noise at all. Does your have the small rubber buffer fitted?
