TLDR: are the light blue blinker connectors in the following photo the original ones from the factory?
Hood Automotive tire Automotive design Motor vehicle Rim

Background:

I bought a brand new 2023 Trident. I ordered official heated grips from either Cleveland Triumph or the official US Triumph store (can't remember which one). I installed them myself, and I don't remember seeing these blinker connectors when I was installing the grips.

The heated grips never worked. Pressing the button would result in the icon on the display, but they never got any heat.

I brought the bike in to my dealer and they had it for like a month. They verified that it wasn't a faulty install. They did a software update that was supposed to fix them, but it didn't fix them. They called Triumph UK and were told the grips were faulty and to replace them under warranty. The new ones they installed also don't work (same symptom -- display icon but no heat). Triumph UK then told them to await a new software update.

In order to actually use my new bike, I picked it up despite the grips not being fixed. (While they had it for a month, I also paid them to install a quickshifter.) When I picked up the bike, as I was leaving the lot, I turned on my right blinker and the dash flashed an error message saying "no right blinker" or something. I immediately backed up and brought it back to them and the guy immediately looked at these cables and found that one was disconnected.

I'm really just wondering if those blue connectors are the factory connectors. All the other connectors I have seen are black. They look janky to me and the way they are oriented is just begging for moisture problems (like filling up with rain water). I'm wondering if they accidentally cut the wires or something and this was the best they could come up with to repair.

Did hear that Tridents and Tiger Sport 660s had an issue with the official heated grips. Triumph have resolved the issue now with a new download that has to be applied at the dealerships.
Yep, I mentioned that to my dealer but they said the latest update didn't fix the heated grips that that Triumph UK told them the update didn't fix it for everybody.

A software upgrade from around summer last year (don’t remember the exact sate, but July latest) had broken the heated grip feature, not exactly sure what they were trying to accomplish fiddling with something that worked perfectly fine, but whatever. And Triumph said nothing to their dealers, anywhere in the world.
Then an update came out end of year 22, and solved the problem they made for themselves.

So yeah, during the messed up phase, the heat was barely noticeable through gloves, and only at low speeds. But now, with the up to date software, it’s very warm, like sweaty palms by 0°C at freeway speeds kind of warm If you leave it at max setting.
