Dardoonk wanted to know if there would be any Packless Rats rides scheduled in 2007, since he might like to join the group when he comes up to visit family in NE Ohio. Anyone out there who knows of any proposed activities?

Hey Bob, I just went to an old post to get info on the group for you, but you were the first 1 listed. Oh well. Funny timing on your post, as I had just pm'd Monte to see what he was up to, no answer yet. Hope all goes well for 07, seems like good times from the trip reports in 06.

Hey, BobW - Monte and I communicated via PM the other day ... Although my name was on the original Packless Rats list, I was called out of town on family business at the time of the first ride, and didn't sign up for the second. So I guess you could say I'm a Packless Rat without a Pack. I'm hopeful that someone that was more active will respond to Dardoonk.

Monte organized the first one in Newcomberstown, DrJay the one one in Y-town & I'm not sure the who for the Central ride. It takes alot of effort & time on their part, something everyone can't or won't do. I think with the turnouts for each ride being good that maybe someone will plan some for 2007.

I enjoyed meeting Monte & his wife in Y-town & miss his posts. Hope he is still riding!

I'm here, just busy so it took me awhile to see the post. You bet we'll be riding in 2007. I anticipate at least 3 meet and greet rides. The Packless RATS are a great bunch and it really isn't that hard to plan the trips we do. After all, we don't do the sponser/t-shirt stuff. Just fun rides and great food stops.....Stay alert for news after the snow melts!!

Hey, guys and gals:

I'm still kicking but haven't been active on the site for a couple (3?) months. Busy. Relatively healthy, but got disgusted with some of the posturing and BS and backed off for a while.

With winter coming on I'm riding a bit less but still riding every week at least 20-30 miles, and will ride as much as possible all winter, as most of you know.

Anyway, I'll organize something when the weather breaks fairly well, probably in mid or late May, earlier if we have an early spring, which isn't likely around here. In any case the "Packless Rats" are likely alive and well, if hibernating.
