I don`t think it`s creepy at all. I`ve got a large jar of my own stuff in the deep freeze, just in case.
If any of you you are having trouble concieving, I`ll happily sell you a bit very cheaply but don`t try and ask for any refunds if the kids grow up to be short and balding adults!

That women is beyond disturbed, can't imagine any genuine filtering/background assessment would give her a "stable/qualified" approval. She shouldn't be trusted with a kitten/puppy let alone a child. Tragic loss of their own son, but............

Norm, I've thought about that for a long time now. I think we should all be neutered at birth, then you have to justify WHY you should be able to reproduce.

Well, not really but man, some people should not reproduce.

Mrs Cohen said that she was guided in her decision by her dead son. “An hour after being told he had been killed I took his picture and started talking to him. I asked him, ‘Where are all the children you wanted?’ then looked at the picture and heard him saying, ‘Mum, it’s not too late. There is something you can take from me’.
***? Is this woman sane? Even remotely?

To be charitable, in her grief I'm sure she made some decisions that one normally wouldn't make. It does indeed sound pretty morbid though,

A child born to a surrogate mother and brought up by a 'grandmother' who would be an 'orphan' whilst still young to satisfy the whim of an old woman.

Given the choice I don't think I would have liked to have been brought up like that, although for some who have lost their natural parents after being born by them it may be the best they could hope for.

However to do it deliberately is in my opinion messing about with nature too much.

I guess if the article had gone like this:

"I took his picture and started talking to him. I asked him, ‘Where are all the bikes you wanted?’ then looked at the picture and heard him saying, ‘Mum, it’s not too late. There is that Triumph you can get for me’. "

There maybe wouldn't have been a story?

Or am I being disrespectful? :???:

I can understand a mother wanting to have her son's child to take care of. It may not be what I would want, but with all the other things going on in the world I would not rate this as high up on the strange scale.

Good post. I suspect there's plenty of stranger dying wishes being fulfilled in the world.

I can't see anything wrong with bringing someone into the world who'll obviously be wanted, loved and cared for. There's plenty of kids from traditional nuclear families who don't get any of them, let alone all 3 of the above.

Each to their own (shrug), it's sad that there's so much violence around that 20somethings have to die before growing up.... I'd much rather be riding!
