I feel stupid saying this but the one I have for my car doesn't seem to work, I guess because the valve's size.

Also, anyone remember what's the pressure numbers for 2015 Street Triple R OEM tires?

Motorcycle air vales and car valves are the same size. I use one of those digital gauges that has the gauge end at a right angle.

Something like this:

There is one version that will talk to you giving you the pressure reading.

I bought this one a little over a year ago:


It turns off kind of quickly, but is VERY accurate and has a bleed valve.

Happy to contribute... It's probably worth mentioning that you should verify the accuracy of your gauges periodically, since being off by even a little bit can make a big difference. The easiest way to do that is take your bike and gauge to a dealership that specializes in higher-end vehicles. They have their gauges certified regularly, and the techs are typically pretty accommodating; just be forewarned that you may wind up spending more time than intended talking bikes.
