I had this on my former Scrambler (painted black) and it was useful at blocking rocks, and debris. Not sure how it would look on the thruxton but the back could be cut off and trimmed. With the black frame and black oil cooler, it might not look too bad and at the same time, be effective

i've thought about this one myself. i decided against it on price but i think it would look good.

I'd prefer one of these alum air scoops from MAS Engineering if I had the spare cash - they are way expensive and would probably not stay very polished for long, but they do look the business on a racing style bike!(Just my opinion!:))
