This may be too early, but some of you have a great knowledge of aftermarket kit, So, any thoughts on a non-triumph rack to fit 1050 ??

Triumph get you to buy the grab rail, then the rack, best part of £200 I am told..and I only need something to lash the tent and sleeping bags to when two-up. I have throw -overs etc and am not interested in a 2 or 3 box system, when the panniers won't fit a helmet into them.

I am happy to get a rack and weld some plates to it to get to the grab handle mounting points, after-all it doesn't need to be pretty, just functional as I would take it off when not touring.

Any ideas are really welcomed.

I hope someone makes a lower one because that factory thing is just to darn high. What were they thinking?
