Just wondering has anyone fitted the genuine Triumph Tiger fatbars listed in their accessorries catalouge (part A9630105). After the rise, sweep and width of these bars? Thanks.

You will find them to be exactly the same as the stock bars as far as rise, sweep, and width. The bars themselves are flatter (much less rise); however the risers one has to use to mount them make up for the lack of rise. I bent my stock bars on an unscheduled dismount, and used the Triumph fat bars to replace them. My hands are in the same position as before.

I did, last week.
Like RedBird said, riding position is the same.
The install was very easy, especially if you have an extra set of hands. You'll need an air gun to pop the left grip off and some grip glue to put it back. The right grip assembly simply unbolts and slides off. When installing the new risers you will have to leave out the fat flat washers because the thru bolts are shorter, but the new bars are pre-drilled, ready to go, and have sight marks etched on the surface for alignment of parts.
The new risers were a bit of a dissapointment to me because they were not powder coated the same color as the bars. They have a natural finish.
All-in-all though it looks way better than the the stock chrome. Next week is a set of custom Triumph levers.
My God, it never ends... :)
