Found out today that Triumph/Suzuki in Swansea MA will no longer be a dealer for either brand. Odd that they were no longer listed as a dealer in Triumph's website so did a little digging and found this:. https://m.facebook.com/swanseacycles/photos/a.10151476483349660.1073741825.293023654659/10156345933404660/?type=3&source=57&refid=52&__tn__=EH-R

We have now lost 4 dealers in Southeast Mass/RI over the past several years. I'll go to Swansea for my inspection sticker and "pay my respects".

Update: I did call Triumph NA to rant about no new dealers in recent years and the call taker was going to refer my concern to dealer development and took my phone number. We'll see what the future brings Not holding my breath.

Well a year has gone by and no callback from Triumph....wasn't expecting it anyway. So I sent them an email checking on if any progress in any new dealers in southeastern New England and here's their response:

"Dear ,

A member of our staff has responded to your request
Subject: ([EXTERNAL] Triumph Dealers).

Our response:
Thank you for contacting Triumph. We are very sorry to hear of any inconvenience that you may experience losing the dealer closest to you.

We are always actively searching for new dealer partners to fill voids left in markets such as yours and understand the impact it has on those markets customers both existing and future. While we cannot speak to an exact timeframe to fill that void just yet we understand we need to have a dealer in that market as soon as possible.

The dealer locator can be found here.

Since we have lost 4 dealers in the past several years with no new ones I guess their definition of "as soon as possible" is a bit different than mine.

Last spring I went to the former Suzuki/Triumph dealer in Swansea MA. Nice people there. They were still doing inspection stickers and repair work. Just recently I heard that they had closed completely or are planning to. The dealer in Norwich is about 80 miles from me. I do my own oil changes and minor repairs. If I needed something beyond my skills I would either bring it to Street Stuff or Cycles 128 in Beverly MA which is about the same distance. This spring I'll purchase the oil filter online and get an inspection sticker at a nearby bike shop.
