well stampy, I guarantee you will love the sound of the Zard. I agree it's hard to make the decision to go from twin cans to one. I guess I'm different than most people, I don't love one look and hate the other, I think they both look d*mn good! I guess the one + fer Zard is git'n rid of the stock midpipe.

I don't see pros and cons in most of the exhaust silencers and systems available. It is nice that there are so many systems available for the bikes that were not available a year or two ago. It really comes down to what YOU want in looks and sound.

Almost any aftermarket silencer is going to flow more than the engine needs, and definately more the the stock header with the pre-cat in place. So without tuning, they are going to make nearly the same power.

Get a system that has the look and sound you want. If you plan to later remove the precat, be aware that the sound will be deeper and louder afterwards.

Well said...

My only addition is more of a "clarification" to the comment, which would be that in terms of slip-ons, very correct.

If you are looking at a full system, then design does play in and you need to get into dyno graphs and such to make sure you are getting what you pay for.

So choose slip-ons as you like them, systems as you like them and in conjunction with their dyno graphs.

If we can help you from here in the U.S., please let us know.

Steve,
Good clarification.

Do you have a 1050 dyno graph of the Zard slip on and the complete system (especially the full system) with tuning done? I would like to see the difference (if any) between low mount systems and the dual silencer with mid-pipe. I am interested in how this effects the exhaust pulse tuning.

Thanks
