Some of you might remember a previous thread about my car getting vandalised. Well I'm happy to report the police caught the bastards and have charged them with vandalising over 100 vehicles in the town over the past few months. I will pursue getting restoration from these sh!ts. Our damage was not as bad as some, the had all the panels shot through with BB gun pellets. Can you believe it.

It's an early Christmas present for you, Limey. Glad they caught the little buggers. Now you need to find a way to perform your own version of the Nutcracker on 'em.

Right on! glad to hear the good news.
Good one, mate. It would have turned out better if you'd caught them, of course, but you'll just have to settle for monetary compensation. They're lucky.
It'll be interesting to see if they get done and serve time behind bars, but that would be too much to hope. I wonder if they ever saw 'Scared Straight'?

Load up the BB gun and put them in the town square, and let the 100 owners' have some plinking shots...

Yeah that sounds rough, but really, if folks knew there was going to be *grave* consequences for destroying others property they wouldn't do it as a *kick*.

The Detective in charge of this case just called me to explain the progress of the case.
There were 4 perps. two of which are juveniles but all are getting prosecuted as adults.
The police and the state prosecutor are really pissed (angry, not drunk for you guy's across the pond) and are going to throw the book at them. The have admitted to vandalizing over 150 cars so far.
One of the crazy aspects of the case is they were using a pellet gun that was made to look like a .45 hand gun. The detective explained to them they are lucky to be alive because 95% of the home owners in the area they chose to operate own guns and would have had no problem shooting them and had every legal right to do so.
Its a shame I didn't catch them. Saved the state time and money prosecuting them.

First off, this is Bert. I can see how you could make that mistake though since one is tall and yellow and the other is short and orange.
Secondly, despite the realism depicted, it never actually happened. Believe it or not, it's somebody's gif handywork. Now I know what you're thinking, that Sesame Street characters are known for eating children. Not true, not true. It's an urban legend. In fact, Sesame Street characters themselves are not real. In most cases they are hand puppets and in others, adults in costumes. I know, I know, I just blew away your childhood dreams. But at least I didn't just let the cat out of the bag that there is no Santa Claus.
