If you believe that a rectifier is a common problem, you can always buy one in advance and put it on a shelf in your shed ready for when you need it. In fact, you could do that with ALL of the parts that may or may not need replacing on your bike at some time in the future, clutch plates, gasket sets, coils, brake rotors etc. you`d only need one of each and just think of the convenience, no more waiting!

I wonder why more riders don`t do that... :rolleyes:

For the same reason the dealers don`t don`t do it, perhaps? ;)
If ever there was justification to having more than just one motorcycle this is the perfect situation...while you are waiting for the replacement you would still be riding and not complaining...;)
