I cannot get the alternator cover on my Thruxton to budge. I've tried pulling it straight out, as suggested. I've tried tapping the cover with a rubber hammer; then I asked Mr. Big (six foot six, 250 lbs.) and he couldn't pull it off.
Any suggestions? fft:
