Hi all,
I have a set of oxford heated grips on the bike and although we have crappy weather, I really want to change them to standard grips. Does anyone here recommend a set for my baby. Don't want heated, just a nice comfortable set.

P.S - Forgot to say that my heated grips developed a electrical problem were they refused to turn off and constantly heated the grips, and then blew its fuse and made constant contact and drained the battery.

OURY grips... they are soft but feel "sticky" look like big raised blocks... many riders have commented that they like them.. Oury makes grips for motorcycles ATV's bicycles etc.

Can choose from colors $9.95 just bought a pair for when I get my 07 tiger

You want to change from HEATED to UNHEATED? !!!

Blimey, you must have had a serious problem with the electrics to feel like that. I've gone so soft these days that I'd put heated grips on any bike I own.

Did you every get to find out what the problem was? I've not heard of any criticism of the Triumph OE ones and having fitted a set of Oxford heated grips to my mate's bike, I can recomend these too....as long as the live is taken from the switched side of the ignition and they are wired up correctly, that is.
I did indeed, the oxford grips were second hand, so I wasn't able to send back. From investigation of the main box, I noticed under the waterproof lacquer they have on the PCB board, a very small piece of soldier from one of the pots has came away and crossed two/three of the circuits. With this happening, I think the soldier has remelted across these circuits causing a link to form.
Thanks Kevin for the reply, but unfortunately the only supplier of OURY grips over here, are for mountain bikes and they are charging £26 a pair, that $45 in your money. Will keep an eye on ebay.
